Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery is a place for bold American cuisine and fresh, handcrafted beer. Rock Bottom s menu features hearty favorites, prepared with an innovative twist. Dishes like Alder Smoked Salmon Fish & Chips and Smoked Chicken Enchiladas are favorites.

The atmosphere of Rock Bottom is warm and friendly, yet exciting and entertaining. Each location has its own personality, with an overall feeling that is inviting. Warm wood booths are fitted with richly-colored fabrics. Copper and brass fixtures enhance the ambiance. Guests can view the beer making process right from their seats through large windows.

Beer
Brewed on premises, Rock Bottom s beers are mostly ales and range from Light American Style to Stout. Each location has its own brewmaster who instills his personal recipe personality into the beers. Throughout the year, specialty brews are featured as well. Rock Bottom's brews are designed to be "quaffable" and refreshing. They appeal to all beer drinkers, from the novice to those with the most experienced of palates. Each Rock Bottom location offers free brewery tours because, to quote one of our brewmasters, "We don't just want to make great beers, we want to make great drinkers."

Merchandise
Each Rock Bottom location offers a great line of T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and assorted souvenirs. Since each location has their own beer logos, it's fun to collect the various colorful pieces. A few favorites are "Hoosier Ma Stout" from Indianapolis and "Peashooter Pale Ale" from Seattle.

History
Presently there are 13 Rock Bottom brewpubs across America, with another five scheduled to open in 1997. Rock Bottom's first location, known as the Walnut Brewery, was opened in 1990. In 1994, Rock Bottom Restaurants, Inc. became a publicly-held company and is now traded on NASDAQ under the symbol "BREW."

Where they are.

This casual, family-oriented restaurant & bar features Chicago-style deep dish pizza, pasta, sandwiches and salads. Old Chicago is the perfect place to play a game of pool, watch a favorite team play on TV or just hang out with good friends.

Beer
Old Chicago is famous for its extensive beer selection. Customers can enjoy more than 110 brews from around the world, including the most popular microbrews. Old Chicago is the home to the original "World Beer Tour" which invites members (anyone with proper ID can join) to sample each of the 110 selections. Members receive gifts along the way; and, when the tour is completed, the member has his/her name put on a plaque and mounted on the "Hall of Foam"!

History
The first Old Chicago opened in 1976 in Boulder, Colorado. By 1990 there were six locations. In 1994, Old Chicago became a division of Rock Bottom Restaurants, Inc. At the end of 1996, twenty years after the first location, there were 35 Old Chicago restaurants in nine states, with eight new locations scheduled to open in 1997.

ChopHouse

Operated by Rock Bottom Restaurants, Inc., the Denver ChopHouse features great cuts of meat, hand-crafted beers brewed on premises and a lively atmosphere. The Denver ChopHouse brews six varieties of beer on site. Fine spirits, single-malt scotches and fine cigars are also available.

Located in the historic Union Pacific Railroad s "Head House," the Denver ChopHouse is one of the most popular destinations in LODO (Lower Downtown) Denver. The decor is themed to echo the historic train experience of the 1940s. Old photos and visuals enhance the warm wood and exposed-brick interior. The great sounds of that era are piped throughout the restaurant.

The Denver ChopHouse is situated just "a baseball's throw away" from Coors Field, so many Colorado Rockies fans enjoy the restaurant before and after games. The back room, known as The Caboose, offers a casual ambiance, with a prominent bar, exposed-brick walls and wall-sized doors that remain open on nice days.

In the basement of the ChopHouse is "Sing Sing" which opened in the summer of 1996. Sing Sing features a great bar scene with dueling grand pianos on the center stage. Guests are invited (and sometimes required) to sing as loud as they can while pianists bang out favorite hits of the past few decades.

Additional ChopHouses are scheduled to open in the future. The next one will be called the District ChopHouse and is scheduled to open in the spring of 1997 in Washington, D.C.
