Style: Pale ale

ABV: 5.5%

Opened the bottle and poured the straw colored, effervescent liquid into our fluted glasses. Carbonation is moderate with a thin, dissipating white head. The hops jump out, but not the over-fruity citrus kind—the herbal, grassy kind. The lemon flavor dominates with no bitterness to be found. This beer finishes dry with notes of passion fruit lingering slightly. I am surprised the herbal nose did not come through more. Definitely a unique pale ale that will stand out amongst your average everyday pale and a solid addition to Odell’s Montage Variety Pack.
