The Great Imperial Pumpkin Ale

October 13, 2011 Beautiful bright copper penny-colored, with a creamy head. Potent brown baking spice aroma, with all of the component in balance. Potent brown baking spice aroma, with all of the component in balance. The flavor is the best kind of fruitcake with dark spices and raisins. Thick, chewy mouthfeel, followed by metallic hops—maybe it’s the pie pan! A rustic, agricultural take on pumpkin, with some alcohol heat at 9 percent ABV.
