A mixed panel with this one. While one found it “romantic with berry patch aromas” at the front, another called it “seaweed giving way to earth.” All agreed that there were leather and dark roast coffee notes in the background and that the raspberry—which sometimes came across as black cherry—was dominant and dialed up high along with a bracing acidity. “This is essentially the triple IPA of sours. Quite extreme,” a panelist noted.
