Wildfires Force San Diego Breweries to Evacuate

By Staff - May 15, 2014

Fires have been burning in Southern California for the past several days, and earlier today Gov. Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency for San Diego County. The area is home to a large number of breweries, many of which have been evacuated due to the flames. No injuries have been reported.

Based on current assessments from local officials there has been approximately one home destroyed in San Marcos and two homes destroyed in San Diego County. Mandatory evacuations in the City of San Marcos are still in place. These areas include all neighborhoods south of San Marcos Boulevard, including Lake San Marcos, Discovery Hills, Discovery Meadows, San Elijo Hills, and Coronado Hills. Due to the fires we'll be closing our tasting room at 5pm.
