(Press Release)
SEATTLE—Schilling Cider has officially expanded its partnership with Great Artisan Beverage Co. — bringing craft cider to all corners of Washington state.
Now available in Washington, northern Idaho, Oregon and Minnesota, Schilling Cider boasts three flavors in four-packs of 12-ounce cans—hoppy Original, spicy Ginger and smooth Oak Aged—as well as a 22-ounce, bottled winter seasonal Spiced featuring clove, cinnamon and all- spice.
Schilling Cider was started by two college friends with visions of sustainability, a focus on local ingredients and the drive to try something new. In only their seventh month of shipping, they are pushing hard to make their cider available in the same place their resources are gathered. Co- founders Colin Schilling and Mark Kornei are excited to spread their passion for cider.
“I want local craft cider to be as accessible as possible to the Pacific Northwest and this is a big step that will help us make that happen,” Schilling said.
“While we have grown quickly, most of our growth has been in the Seattle area. People trying our ciders at festivals always ask when we will be available in the rest of the state. Now we can say we are statewide,” Kornei added.
Schilling Cider is currently shopping for larger facilities that can handle their ever-increasing demand.
