(Press Release)
SPOKANE, WA—No-Li Brewhouse plans to release its next 22 oz “Expo Series” bomber, Skyrail IPA, on December 24th, 2013, just in time for the holiday. The success of the brewery’s current Expo Series brew, Winter Warmer Ale, shows promise for continuing this innovative series.
Ringing in at 65 IBUs and around 6.5% ABV, Skyrail IPA is a Spokane-Style, single-hop beer made using only Amarillo hops. Inspiration for the beer stems from the draft-only “No Boundaries” series “Amarillo Red Ale” that Brewmaster Mark Irvin crafted using inspiration from several beers he’s brewed in the past, but added a little West-Coast IPA-spin. The beer was featured at the pub this fall, and it’s wild success made it a natural for the next Expo Series brew.
The bottle reads: “Skyrail IPA is a monorail hop-ride, a throwback to more simple days. This ‘Expo Series’ brew is light orange in color and showcases the complexity and fruitiness of the Amarillo hop, with a clean and slightly sweet malt backdrop. Spicy orange, tangerine and grapefruit notes dominate this IPA, letting your senses experience all this hop has to offer. Enjoy the ride.”
No-Li’s “Expo Series” will rotate throughout the year, featuring a new special release every three months.
Brewmaster Mark Irvin comments: “The Expo Series is a chance for our brew team to explore recipe creation from the past, present and future. It allows us to challenge ourselves at No-Li to stay creative, and, in turn, keeps craft beer drinkers thirsty for more.”
After Skyrail, the brewery’s next Expo Series 22 oz bomber will be available in March 2014.
Skyrail IPA will be available in all of the states No-Li currently distributes to, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Colorado, Ohio, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., North Carolina, Hawaii, and now internationally in Western Canada.
