New iPhone App Captures New York’s Craft Beer Revolution

BROOKLYN, NY Craft Beer New York, which was launched today by Blue Crow Media, is now available to download for the iPhone. This is the first guide dedicated to the world’s next craft beer capital, New York.

Craft Beer New York features the best craft beer establishments across all five boroughs, which were chosen and reviewed by renowned Brooklyn-based beer writer Joshua M. Bernstein, the author of Brewed Awakening. Focused exclusively on quality craft beer bars, breweries and shops, the app includes an interactive map with more than 150 carefully selected locations. The app conveniently contains detailed information about each bar, brewery and shop, including reviews, beer recommendations, food tips, contact details, photos and more.

Bars may be found by name, proximity or quality ratings. Craft Beer New York will retail for $1.99.

    I’m sure it’s a great app but I wish people from down state would stop considering that to be the only part of NY state. The app is called Craft Beer New York which caught my interest to only find out that it should be called Craft Beer New York City. I live 4 hours or so away from NYC and almost never go there. This kind of thing really irks the fine New Yorkers in the rest of the state.
