Journalists for All About Beer Magazine and AllAboutBeer.com claimed four awards and two honorable mentions today, when the North American Guild of Beer Writers (NAGBW) announced the winners of its fourth annual competition for writers, bloggers, broadcasters and authors at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver.

-Jeff Alworth, gold in Best Historical/ Technical Beer Writing for Attempting to Understand the Reinheitsgebot
-Jeff Alworth, bronze in Best National/ International Reporting for Hop Shift
-Jeff Alworth and Patrick Emerson, honorable mention in Best Beer Podcast/Broadcast for the Beervana Podcast
-John Holl, silver in Best Short Form Beer Writing for Last Call: Having a Round on the ‘Late Late Show’
-John Holl, bronze in Best Beer and Travel Writing for Finding Cuban Beer in the Land of Cigars and Rum
-Jesse Bussard, honorable mention in Best Beer and Food Writing for Salt: Giving Gose Big Flavor
