Lake Placid Pub & Brewery at P.J. O'Neill's,
Lake Placid, N.Y.

We went there last summer (1996) and had a great sandwich! We returned there this year and discovered the brewery in operation.... After spending 5 days and 4 nights canoeing through the St Regis region, the IPA (I give it 3 stars) saved my life! My partner had a nice (but sweet for my taste) stout. They sell 1/2 gallon growlers. Great staff, nice deck, bars upstairs and down ... the food was still delicious.
